Rented a cottage for a week in St Monans, a tiny fishing village in the 'Kingdom' of Fife. We went on the strength of a previous visit in which we ate at the local 'Seafood Restaurant' and promised ourselves a return.
Spent most of our visit walking the Fife Coastal Paths either east towards Elie or west towards Pittenween, Anstruther and Crail.
Side trips to Kingsbarns, Cambo Gardens and Kellie Castle were worth the effort despite the fact that it was the wrong time of year.
